The Truth of America’s Founding Seminars Inspire Attendees in Maryland and Delaware

This spring and summer, The Truth of America's Founding seminar brought together citizens, church members, homeschool families, and community leaders in both Maryland and Delaware for a powerful exploration of the biblical and constitutional foundations of the United States.

The first seminar was held at Saint Benedict Catholic Church in Ridgely, Maryland, followed by a second event at Abundant Life Church in Georgetown, Delaware. Together, these events provided attendees with an opportunity to examine the role of God, the Bible, and Christian principles in the founding of the American Republic.

Led by Instructor and Regional Director Larry Mayo, the one-day course challenged participants to look beyond modern interpretations of history and return to the original sources, documents, and principles that shaped our nation. Topics included the influence of Christianity on America's founding, the role of pastors and Christians in civil government, constitutional principles, and the responsibilities of citizens in preserving liberty for future generations.

The response from attendees was overwhelmingly positive. At the Georgetown event, organizers expected approximately seven participants, but attendance grew to a dozen people, including the church's pastor. Throughout the day, attendees were engaged, asked thoughtful questions, and expressed appreciation for both the content and presentation.

Several participants shared testimonials about their experience.

Greg reflected on how much he learned:

"I just got finished with Larry's seminar, and it's very informative. I encourage anyone and everyone to attend because you'll understand a lot more about how our country was formed and how the church originated here in America. I think everybody will get a lot out of it."

Joy shared how the seminar challenged her assumptions and inspired her to continue learning:

"I just finished attending the Institute of the Constitution's program today, and the one thing that has kind of blown me away is how little I actually know. I learned so much today and thought that I was a pretty well-informed American citizen, but actually I was not at all. This program has really helped me grow and learn, and the materials provided will be a great resource for me to continue learning more about our Constitution and our country."

Lillian Rogers, a homeschooling mother, had a similar experience:

"I wasn't quite sure about attending this course because I thought I knew everything about the Constitution and our rights. Well, in the first 10 minutes, I learned three things I didn't know, so it's been well worth it."

These testimonials reveal a common theme. Whether attendees arrived with extensive knowledge of American history or simply a desire to learn more, they left with a deeper appreciation for the principles, faith, and sacrifices that helped establish the United States.

The seminars also demonstrated a growing hunger among Americans to better understand their nation's history and founding documents. Participants not only gained new knowledge but also received resources they can continue studying and sharing with their families, churches, and communities.
